Theory of Change
We believe that the most impactful way to create long-term change is to build holistic, sustainable communities which empower members to identify their own dreams and to put those dreams into action.
This model includes three core elements of development: Serve; Equip; and Empower.
While we recognize the need to meet basic needs and services for the most vulnerable, we also believe that individual capacity building must be balanced with leadership training in democratic processes, community building, and service to others. By so doing, communities are not only equipped to care for themselves and their families, but are further empowered to reach out to those around them, thus sustaining the circle of change for others.
